I mentioned in another thread that I needed to contact Buck about a blade upgrade and a re-sharpening...I got several emails about the lousy Buck customer service via phone calls...waits for *hours* on hold; dropped calls; and no one answering calls...

If you have had a problem with calling Buck and not being able to make a connection or having to wait - any phone related problem - please post. Maybe we can get someone to look at this problem area...

Don't bother posting about excellent service...

I think the long wait times on the phone were to the company store. I've called in and asked to be connected with their warranty department and have always been connected right away. I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Just call the 800 number and ask to be transferred.

But Trax,
Maybe it has only been a few people with problems? Maybe the good customer service outweights the bad 10 to 1 ???????
As far as I know thats all Buck has is good customer service :D
Sorry for hijackin' your thread :)

I'll start another one..."Tickled pink with Buck phone-in service"... :D ;)

...Mike is right about the problems being with the company store Trax...That's where I waited for weeks or months (it seemed) for someone to answer the phone. I might try the warranty department myself one of these days and see about getting the scales on my BCCI 112 tightened up...

Back in the 80's/90's, when I was with the Air Force Reserve, we had a yearly committment to join the Panama Rotation for 8 - 10 weeks...I swear, every swinging Richard carried his car keys to Panama...

I watched my First Sergeant one morning, put on his watch, grab his hat, and stick his car keys in his pocket...I fell over laughing..."You gonna walk 8000 miles out to your car???"... :p  :D

Cell phone in the woods  ..."Hey honey, I got a deer! Bring the car!"... :D

Cell phones do good in the woods.... on vibrate.....

Hello,,,,Dad,,,,,,,bring the 4x4 and some shovels.... I just buried the 3/4 ton.
