But Trax,
Maybe it has only been a few people with problems? Maybe the good customer service outweights the bad 10 to 1 ???????
As far as I know thats all Buck has is good customer service :D
Sorry for hijackin' your thread :)
Yep. When is the last time you called the phone company and thanked them for your dial-tone?

You know those "How am I Driving? " stickers on trucks with the truck/trailer number? I called once and told the gal that answered that truck number-whatever was doing a great job using turn signals, making safe turns, etc. She was pleasantly surprised. I was just messing around...there was a truck and he was doing good, but I was bored as shot.

Anyway, to keep this on thread, I remembered that some time ago I called and had an inquiry (Company Store) and never got a call back. No biggie, I could've called back myself, but shouldn't have to. Besides, I am certain that by now that person has been promoted to management ;)

Goose,
I saw a "Honk if you love Jesus" bumper sticker at a red light. I honked and the old bag gave me the finger! Was the person that never called you back an elderly lady?
Porky

I love it when someone honks at me if I don't get away from a light as fast as they think I should. I hit the brakes, put it in park, get out look real confused and totally do an inspection all around and under my car, shrug my shoulders and get back in and we all wait through another light...:D Well only if mama isn't with me...and depinding on what part of town I am in.

I'll try to never honk my horn when I'm behind you in traffic Pack Rat!
If I ever see anyone jump out of their car and do what you describe here I will introduce myself :D

I will forward this to SARAH BUCK she runs the store for Joe and I am sure she will fix the problem.

Wait! All the people who were made to wait for *hours* [that lifetime membership + Buck knife thingy] haven't posted yet...

Is Sarah Joe's wife??? If so, she will be out at the cabin making dinner for Joe, like a good wife should... ;) :D

Trax,
Sarah is CJ's daughter ....
Chuck's granddaughter
Al's Great granddaughter
Hoyt's Great great granddaughter
Joe's sister in law :D

Sarah Buck :D

Shes very nice! I met her at the blade show too! I need to have her sign a knife for me yet!

...Phil...I was one of those who spent literally hours waiting on "Hold" or as "Next Caller" to get a chance at that Club 531 and the lifetime membership that went with it. This was over a four day period as well. To say that I was a bit upset at having to wait that long would be an understatement. I never did get through to anyone to pick up one of those 531's and I therefore never did get the lifetime membership...or the knife...

I just missed having her sign a knife for me in Houston in 2005. At one time she was overseeing the custom shop. She is the one that got my custom problem straightened out.

Hello everyone. This is Sarah... I'm sorry for anyone who has had to wait on hold as "the next caller". Occassionally, for some reason we end up with a phantom caller... We are aware of the problem, and we are trying to correct it.
We are extremely busy in the store sometimes, so aside from the above problem, some of those half-hour wait times are legit...you guys know how much knife collectors like to talk :*)
So, give us another chance...hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)

Thanks Sarah B.....now how about ....some Damascus !!!:D

SarahB, welcome, it's good to have you here.

That's not the only problem...when I called about the 531 + membership...I left a message and never got a call back! I think there have been others mention the fact that they left a message and never got called back. Maybe the phantom is hiding in your answering machine:D ;) :D.

I'm sure that you'll get it worked out, your presence on this forum is evidence of that.

Good luck, Preston

Sarah,
Welcome to the Buck forum. :) Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting you there at the store in Post Falls, knows what a really cool person you are. I hope this is not a one shot deal, but that you will come back and post many more times in the future. Perhaps some direct info on all the really nice deals you guys have there in the store.
