I cant stop carrying and using it!!

Any other 0551 owners having same Problem?

How can I fix it or shouldn't I worry about it ?

I've never had such a Fantastic Knife ;)

I can solve your problem...Send it to me, I will send you a POS Gerber paraframe that you will not have a problem leaving at home, losing or otherwise.
It pains me to offer this service to you, but I don't mind sacrifices now and then.
PM me for my address :D

I thought this was a serious thread because I really did have problems with one of my 0551s.

The problem fixed itself; so yes, I now have the same problem as you!

Ok, you guys finally convinced me to pre-order one of these bastards. Kind of surprised they aren't all gone yet. I swear, this is going to be my last knife!

I'm having mine done even as we speak. Carbon fiber scales and heat treat colored ti. Yeah baby!!:D

it sounds like there were some people with QA/QC problems with the 0551, but min is like yours. i love it! no sticky lock bar, no rust (that i can see). the knife is wonderful.

Barry H does some cool carbon fiber work, as well as cuscadi(google it). Currently im debating on weather or not to order a textured titanium scale from Halpern Titanium

You guys are making it very hard for me to hold out until the larger ZT/Hinderer flipper comes out...

Well I was going to wait until the flipper came out, and was going to buy an 0200 to tide me over, but I just ended up switching my 0200 order to a 0551 at the last minute. I hate you guys. But something tells me I'll have no problem forgiving you when the knife gets here :D

Anyone else have trouble with thumbing their 0551 open? Is it a tad tight or just technique? Never had that problem with any of my many Benchmade, Spyderco or CRK locking folders.

I've heard titanium framelocks need some time to break in. There's some kind of solution involving drawing on the tang with a pencil IIRC.

Took me a while to figure out I needed to push the thumbstud "UP" rather than "OUT". Once I started doing that, it opens smoothly and easily.
