Problem With My 0551...

I'll probably break down and do it eventually, but it'll be a while.

He had my knives, and i had sent him two to work on and one had a more complex scale to make, back to me in i believe 13 days.

Yes, I am going to be offering scales for the 0550/0551 soon! I will have a pretty good selection of colors to start off with and may even offer some limited numbers in titanium! I'll start a thread about it soon! Thanks!

Nooo Rick, you gotta make the titanium scales in "unlimited" production it would be nice to see some of the duotoned(black and something else) g10 handles... Oh yea and some carbonfiber scales would be nice too

Took me a while to figure out I needed to push the thumbstud "UP" rather than "OUT". Once I started doing that, it opens smoothly and easily.

Great tip! When I read this I thought to myself no way...but I tried it and low and behold it opened right up. Unbelievable!:thumbup: Thanks dude!
Like others, I am really digging my 0551. I usually carry a Spyderco Delica 4 for an EDC but I've found myself carrying this one frequently since I've got it. I initially bought the 0551 to use as a backpacking knife since I hate carrying fixed blades but as big as this knife is, it's still very manageable to carry daily as well.
