Product Idea?

Eep!

For the longest time I considered getting a dha/darb through Cozun, but now, I've my reservations!

Which is why a HI made 'dharb' (in honour of the letter "h" in our spelling of khukuri) would be so very appealing !!!

I am very seriously thinking about trying to find a good example of a dha to send to Yangdu to pass on to the Kami's for their inspection and hope their imaginations and forges are fired with innovation and inspiration to produce a properly and very functional new HI product.

Are there any others interested in a HI dharb?

+1 as long as it's not to heavy.

36" long and 1/2" at the spine! :D

Sadly, C.S., that is exactly the way HI Kami's would probably make it on their first attempt if trying to duplicate one from photographs alone.

I really believe it is necessary to provide an original Dha of desired proportions for them to see, feel, handle and put thru its paces before a prototype is made.

I see a HI Dhaab being some time away from regular production. But I have no doubts it will be done "in the fullness of time!" ;)

I bet they could get 'em down to the thickness of the Everest Katana at least... from what I've read, it took quite some time before Uncle Bill was satisfied with the EK's that were being churned out.

Spearheads are entirely made of steel and would be shorter than a new sword. (having stuck oar in,now swiftly paddling away)..
