Production Bushfinger Pass Around Contest

Yes, thanks Thurin, that was a great idea. You too MajorD for getting the ball rolling. I went in to the initial post and put links in to your guys reviews and will update it as more come in. I'll do the same on the hiking buddy pass around as well.
 
Hi all,

Got the knife on Friday, brought it out on a hike on Saturday, did some simple whittling and the like. I was planning on doing something a little more bushcrafty on Sunday but never got the chance since it was a pretty awful day out, and unfortunately this week has been a little crazy at work so I haven't been able to get home until after dark.

Does anybody mind if I wait until this weekend to complete it and mail it out on Monday? I know we're trying to stick to a 1 week turnaround, so I'll try my best to get it done beforehand.

False alarm! There was a break in the project so I was finally able to get home at a decent enough time to finish up. Review will go up shortly, hopefully tonight.
 
Bushfinger has arrived safely in Michigan. I am going to start on the review Monday. I am taking a different approach with my review. The existing reviews are outstanding. I'm going about it from a different angle. Hopefully it's as informative and as insightful as the others before me.
 
Just checking to see where the bushfinger is. Dave sent me a PM at the end of May that it was going back to the shop for sharpening. I haven't heard anything about shipment yet. Just making sure I haven't dropped the ball on anything.
 
I believe it is in the hands of xxxwjtxxx right now - we shipped it to him last week after touching the edge up.

Sounds like this guy is on the pass around list, but I'm not 100%. Anyway, the person in the video is honest and it makes for a cool short review.

I think the same of my hiking buddy sheath. As a matter of fact I quit using it after 2 days.

I don't know if we can mention other forums or post links on BF. Some forums will send a warning for it. I think he is on the pass around on another forum in the gear review section of a forum with training in a jungle.

I'm bumping this to the top. I believe Vayu has the knife right now? Not sure how the order got tangled up, but as far as I can tell it should head to bmktdk next. I updated the initial post to include xxwjtxx review. I'll also get the hiking buddy thread updated as well.

Talfuchre - if you're in the mood to make a custom sheath for it that would be awesome! No worries if not of course.

Bmktdk has had it and Talfuchre is busy with other projects right now. It is on its way to Trestle, and then to 710 and cdmayhem and perhaps to Talfuchre before it completes the journey home :thumbup:
