My name is Daniel, CEO of Satori Knives LLC, a new and upcoming knife company currently developing multiple folding knife, fixed blade, EDC, tactical, and utility-focused projects.
We are seeking a skilled CAD / 3D Design Specialist with experience in the knife industry or related precision mechanical design fields to assist in translating established concepts into production-ready digital models.
What We Are Looking For
We are not looking for someone to invent concepts from the ground up.
Many of our designs, specifications, ergonomics, deployment methods, materials, and intended manufacturing processes have already been established.
We are looking for an individual who can assist in transforming those concepts into:
Production-ready CAD models
STEP files
STL files
DXF files
Exploded assembly drawings
Manufacturing drawings
Functional mechanical assemblies
Experience with the following is highly preferred:
Folding knives
Fixed blades
Frame locks
Liner locks
Button locks
Bearing systems
Detent geometry
Pivot systems
Titanium and steel machining
CNC manufacturing considerations
Production tolerances
OEM production preparation
Current Projects
Current development projects include:
Premium folding knives
Tactical fixed blades
Utility-focused EDC concepts
Innovative mechanical concepts
Patent-focused projects
Additional products related to the knife and EDC industry
Some projects are straightforward while others involve unique engineering and design challenges requiring creative problem-solving and precision execution.

As Satori Knives continues to expand, we anticipate developing numerous projects over the coming years and would prefer to work with individuals who enjoy being part of an evolving development process rather than simply completing a single commission.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Protection of intellectual property is extremely important to Satori Knives LLC.
Execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement will be mandatory prior to the commencement of any project involving confidential information.
All concepts, inventions, designs, drawings, CAD files, renderings, engineering solutions, specifications, manufacturing data, prototypes, improvements, derivative works, trade secrets, and related intellectual property developed, refined, modified, or reduced to practice during the course of work performed for Satori Knives LLC shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Satori Knives LLC.
Contractors, consultants, designers, engineers, manufacturers, and third parties shall acquire no ownership interest, licensing rights, manufacturing rights, commercialization rights, publication rights, royalty rights, derivative rights, or future claims relating to any Satori Knives LLC intellectual property.
Certain projects may involve patent filings, proprietary engineering concepts, confidential business strategies, trade secrets, and future commercial opportunities. Professional discretion, confidentiality, and respect for intellectual property are therefore essential requirements of any working relationship.
We believe successful partnerships are built upon mutual respect, integrity, professionalism, and proper protection of each party's confidential information.
