Sounds good. I suppose I could just be “in”, send him the knife when I get it, and you could settle your half by check or something. We can figure it out once we know what the ordering process is likeView attachment 1864335
I am in Charlie. This will be a wonderful knife. Thank you for coming to the rescue once again!
J Just Tom.
I am with you brother. I will gladly join you in helping out our fish hunter. Let’s talk about the details as we get closer. Great idea on your part!
I’m in.Some years ago, settling Australians thought introducing rabbits to their environment would be a good idea, providing a ready source of food in an ideal climate. Too good an idea as it turns out; they, the rabbits, quickly over-ran the country!!!
But it did provide a great opportunity for the cutlery industry!!View attachment 1863518View attachment 1863520View attachment 1863521
In chatting them up with GEC over the last few years, Bill has come around with a proposal for us, for a 2022 Bladeforums knife!!
Most of the ones I have seen were 2-blades, with a clip and a pen being the most sought after versions. They also had matte black synthetic handles!!
Here is GEC's offering!!View attachment 1863523A traditional pattern for which I am looking into a new, improved qualification and distribution system!!
I wasn't going to get involved in another BF knife, but It has fallen into my lap!!
Please leave me some simple feedback, and we'll see if this works!!
Last years knife actually worked pretty well, with a small percentage of cheaters and flippers making outsized trouble for us, so I am working on a better system - to be continued!!
Ours says “you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit” lolAs my son’s kindergarten teacher used to say, “you get what you get, and you don’t get upset.”
I'll go the other half for him.It looks like it is going to be a beautiful knife, but I am not in - only because I promised myself not to ever go down the GEC rabbit hole (ha ha), and I’m going to stick to that.
I would, however, depending on how the payments are arranged, be willing to go halfsies with somebody to buy one for a certain hat-wearing, snuff-dipping, bow-shooting predator of the piscatory we all know.
Thanks!I'll go the other half for him.
Good idea to prevent any form of voting. By the way, how is your hip performing. Mines like new.Spark is ready to go!!![]()
Wish I could say the same. Had mine replaced almost three years ago and I’m going to be using a cane for the rest of my life. I made the mistake of waiting too long to get mine replaced. Doc told me up front he’d do his best to get my leg the same length as the other but he’d never seen one as damaged as mine. Moral to this rant, don’t be dumb like me! Still living the dream though!Good idea to prevent any form of voting. By the way, how is your hip performing. Mines like new.
