NEWS!!
>This years BF knife will have a serial number!!

>Handles will now be Gabon Ebony with a brushed finish (the whole knife) like the ToeNail Clipper!!

Thank you for the update, Charlie. It's wonderful to see movement on this, your efforts are always appreciated.

Ebony is ALWAYS a welcome treat. Perhaps I missed it in all of the shenanigans here but will the hardware be all steel or nickel-silver/brass?

Wow, what an outstanding and wonderful surprise on this Bunny knife. Love the history behind this model. At 3 1/2" such a perfect size for many of us. The serialization and ebony coveres, along with being a 2 blade- about as good as it gets, imho. I'm IN and would be so thrilled to get one. Thanks for this exciting update and all the behind scenes work you put in for us Charlie! 771214EC GEC NF SFO Charlie Campagna Washington Jack- Gabon Ebony 49 Produced (9) - Copy.jpg:D

I am truly chuffed by the new developments. Now we won't have to have side-eyed folks wondering who the dreaded flippers were. There will be a simple list, and none of the rest of us need to do any hand-wringing.

But rather more important to me than the serial numbers is the handle news! I was just fine with the synthetic scale option. It would have been pattern appropriate. But I always prefer wood to plastic on a traditional (and usually even on a m*dern folder). And the ebony may have just shifted this knife from another forum knife that will hang out with the others in their tubes, to one that might see some real pocket time!

Knife content, the Bunny Knife's siblings are waiting to greet the new kid:

GREAT NEWS !!!
Was thinking of ordering some Papa John's or Domino's tonight for supper and serial number "P177A" came to mind. Not sure why though

Agree with your first para, no need for anybody to indulge their self-righteousness - which is usually a mask for something else ;)

That's a very fine array of Forum Knives, mine is more patchy: 2008, (missed 2009 due to rather inept distribution that year) 2010 I've given away, 2011, 2012 didn't fancy it, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 didn't fancy it-yeah you heard right, 2020, 2021. The ones I use with frequency are 2014, 2018, 2020- no common denominator except clad with animal headgear . And the forthcoming one is named after an animal

Be interesting to see if there's a Black&White Ebony Special Edition, very cool stuff.
