Some years ago, settling Australians thought introducing rabbits to their environment would be a good idea, providing a ready source of food in an ideal climate. Too good an idea as it turns out; they rabbits quickly over-ran the country!!!
But it did provide a great opportunity for the cutlery industry!!View attachment 1863518View attachment 1863520View attachment 1863521
In chatting them up with GEC over the last few years, Bill has come around with a proposal for us, for a 2022 Bladeforums knife!!
Most of the ones I have seen were 2-blades, with a clip and a pen being the most sought after versions. They also had matte black synthetic handles!!
Here is GEC's offering!!View attachment 1863523A traditional pattern for which I am looking into a new, improved qualification and distribution system!!
I wasn't going to get involved in another BF knife, but It has fallen into my lap!!
Please leave me some simple feedback, and we'll see if this works!!
Last years knife actually worked pretty well, with a small percentage of cheaters and flippers making outsized trouble for us, so I am working on a better system - to be continued!!
Nice catch there! The knife has four pins when open and three when closed. What kind of sorcery is this?!

JK! Probably a rendering error!
I'm in for one assuming I qualify. Thanks for doing this again Charlie!
What are the covers on these typically made of? I would love to see these with black micarta for the synthetic covers!
Nope, not stirring anything up! As is will be perfect!!’I'm not ready for changes, and neither is Bill. What we see is what we'll get.
Proposing changes triggers polls and arguing - I for one am not ready for that!!
We don't have to do it of course. I suspect Bill has gotten this far, so would produce one if we don't go for it. We get the chance to get one at a reasonable market price, but as-designed!
