Not sure if he is a member here but I wanted to say that Gene Martin at Provision Forge is the absolute epitome of what knifemakers represent! He helped me by answering questions and offering any advice he had to give even before I bought anything from him! He is a good business man and his knives are first class. I know most people would have grown frustrated by my questions (I was absolutely new to the process so needed a lot of "for dummies" help) but Gene explained that he started in a similar way and someone had stepped up and helped him and now look where he was. For that reason he was committed to encouraging new or aspiring knife makers in any way possible. I just can't say enough good things about Gene and his shop!
