PSK knives

I'd like to see pictures of it cord wrapped, as well as an approximation of the length of cord?

So if possible, pictures of it:
cord wrapped in and out of the sheath
non-wrapped in and out of the sheath

THANKS!

L

The knives I have are all cord wrapped. I can show those but I don't have any made up unwrapped. It may be a week before I get more made. I will post pics when I can.
powernoodle, kydex sheath with shipping is 20 bucks.

I've got 3 available. Pre-cord wrapped with or without kydex. With kydex, $75.00 plus 5 for shipping, without kydex (no sheath) $60.00 plus 5 for shipping.

Hi Scott,
I purchased the PSK with kydex and had been wanting to cord wrap it, but had the problem of it not fitting in the sheath. Is there anyway to soften the kydex easily and without ruining it, so that I can wrap it?

Thanks Chinpo

I did the same thing. Use a heat gun (much easier) or a hair dryer (works, but not as well) to soften the Kydex and re-form it while it cools. I did have to take off the lowest rivet, but depending on the placement of yours you may be able to keep it.

I apologize for not making it more clear about the kydex with blade only. As Paul said, it is easy to reform kydex with a heat gun. This is one reason I'm offering them pre-cord wrapped now. Thanks again to all that have purchased the PSK knives. You guys have made them a success. Enjoy!

I had the same problem. Kydex sheath made for PSK unwrapped, knife didn't fit. The sheath maker suggested that I pour some boiling water into a cup and hold the opening of the sheath in the hot water until it softened, only about 1/4-1/3 of the length. He said that I should use a glove to resize the sheath opening. Did that and then I found that the kydex never got to hot to work without a glove. Just be careful.

My sheath now holds my PSK wrapped and will retain the knife even if held upside down and shaken.

Yes it was. I received the sheath and my knife did not fit. I emailed him with the problem and he replied. Eric was very patient with me as I had no experience working with kydex. He explained the process to me and said that if I couldn't solve my problem then I should send the sheath back to him and he would either correct the original one or make another.

Doing business with you Scott and Eric is really a pleasure. It's
Smoooooth!

I still want the IWB

Just got a leather and a couple kydex sheathes from Scott, and they are beautiful and fit great! I am excited to start carrying around one of these little guys a bit more often! Thanks Scott for such a great little product at such a good price :)

Thank you bhmorrill ;) and everyone else who have made these knives a success.
BTW,
I have three cord wrapped with kydex still available.
Scott

Are there any chord wrapped with Kydex still available? If so, I'll take one. If there are two available, I'll take two.
