Check your favorite knife dealer sites. There are some more 0551's out. :thumbup:

Yea, I know..Ive been trying to talk myself out of ordering one since the other day :o Ive spent so much on knives lately...Problem is I know after this, that is it for the 551's and the aftermarket price is already balloning...
I need to just suck it up, take it like a man and order one :jerkit: crap, what am I gonna have to build on to the house for this one.......
 
mine is waiting for me at home. just pull the trigger Kentucky, you can always sell it later. :thumbup:
 
i ended up getting 2 of them last week. I've wanted one since the beginning of the year, but as badly as I wanted one I just didn't want to pay an aftermarket premium.

BTW does this mean that there are more than 1,000 produced? I ended up getting 2 serials in the 1,100 range.
 
I just received mine yesterday, serial# 1112. I'm hoping it breaks in as its a little hard to open with just my thumb. It's a really nice knife and my first zt.
 
saw this post, immediately opened 5 tabs of all of the knife stores i knew of. searched them all, found it, ordered it, and it should be here in Korea, hopefully, by next week(or 2. 4th of July weekend.) Come on US postal service! bring me my baby!!! So freaking excited. I was talking to the lady at the knife store i ordered from, and she said that the first batch actually had to be sent back and that there was something wrong with them. can anyone prove or disprove this? I am interested to know what was wrong with the first batch, if anything.
 
The liner under the g10 had rust issues on the first run. Was fixed on later runs.
 
Thomas - any idea how many were actually made. I thought there were only going to be 1000 pieces?
 
My last fifty were almost all over 1000 and the highest number I had was about 1197 I think, do at least 1200 and I would guess 1500 or so.
