did the deer run off or did some tow truck guy get lucky again?

damn. heal up!

i know several people that seem to hit a deer at least once a year. they're getting kinda good at it. the trick is to AIM at it. usually they're not there when you get up to it... if you try to avoid, well, they go where you went.

what kind of bike? what kind of new bike?

perhaps a deer sticker set for your tank? they make them. sadly.
 
Glad he was not injured more seriously.

Deer are on thing that really scares me when I am riding.

Honestly, the thread title scared the shit out of me. Sore for a while is a lot better than mangled up though. Glad it wasn't worse brother.

Well the bike isnt as bad as I thought, but the last I saw it I was sliding down the road and it was ahead of me upside down.







 
You should get those rashes looked at. ;)

I see the wounds, but why did they rub cherry pie filling around them? What kind of "hospital" was this? :confused:

psyops, it was nice talking to you. looking at the picture of your knee made me cringe. i'm glad you are ok. i'm sure you'll be riding again in no time. just make sure to put some deer alarms on your next bike.
 
Errrrrr........it's just a flesh wound. Psy, your gonna be sore for a good while after that one. Glad you are doing as well as you are. I've had some road rash through my 40+ years of road riding. Insurance will fix the scooter. You will heal. Were you wearing a helmet? I never ride without it!

Crap man that knee is gonna bug you bad for a while after that peeling. the road rash will heal, but DAT KNEE!......
I am real glad your in as good a shape as you are man, it could have been much worse. Bike crashes at any speed are more often devastating than minor.
