Yup had the helmet on but I didnt hit my head.
 
that sucks man, glad you are Ok. I have had many deer near misses riding in the Texas hill country, one time so close I brushed one but the guy behind me hit it...

Glad you are alright-ish for real man. That is some scary junk! (Guyon's comment...) Get better soon, and maybe release a line of deer leather sheaths :D

WOW! I am glad your ok buddy.

I know a guy who hit a baby Moose on a motorcycle. While he was laying in the road the mother Moose was stomping and posturing trying to make him leave. Another person in a car had to park between the guy and the Moose until it finally moved on.

Just the thread title gave me the willies! I am glad to see that you are OK - friend of mine was knocked off his bike by a turkey and killed. Deer? Man, I'd consider you seriously blessed. Make some chaps outta that thing...best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Glad your ok. I have had a LOT of close calls myself. Came home once with deer hair stuck in my bar end !!!

Glad your ok, Psy. You'll heal. Been through one crash myself, but I was a bit luckier than you. The hardest part is when you get back on your new bike for the first time, and get the shakes, thinking, oh shit, what if..... But you'll get through it.
