Public apology

I hope your health improves, I recieved one of your sheaths in a trade and i have to say it would be worth a long wait time, take care of yourself first! sheaths and knives second!

Hey David...

I know Exactly how you feel...
These injuries come Absolutely at the worst of times..

I cut a tendon in my finger and was pretty much off for 8 months...

We both run Very busy shops, that are fast paced. One thing people have to try to remember is that we don't insert material into a machine and push a button, out pops a premade sheath...

As much as we seem we are,,and most of the times feel like we are,, we aren't machines. Things happen, things change and we do the best we can to get orders out ASAP...

I don't know about you,, but I'm constantly running behind on work..sometimes,, nothing you can do about it...

Take it easy,,don't worry to much, and do some stretching when there is less pain,, it will help...

Anything I can do to help David,, let me know..

ttyle

Man, you guys are the best, I am really touched & humbled. You are all the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really glad I have your support some people have to go through this kind of thing alone, I am very thankful for each & everyone of your friendship.

Thank you all for the well wishes & the understanding & the advise.

A little update;

I went to physical therapy yesterday & it help a good bit.

I had a MRI done Tuesday night & they told me the results this morning.
I have arthritis in the lower back, degenerative disc disease, loss of disc space in L3,L4 & L5, I also have a slipped disc.:grumpy: I am supposed to consult with a surgeon next week & see what the options are.

But I am still hopeful it will get better :)

Also a little good news I got a bunch of AK & GW sheaths done & shipped.

I have a good system for getting things done in the shop, so I have a handle on that.
The only bad thing is the concrete cleaning business kills me to do, because I am standing & swinging the wand around. I will probabley end up selling it & finding something to suplement the holster business.

I can relate,Mine is L4 and L5.Two herniated discs, maybe more by now.The worst part is the Sciatic nerve pain.My feet will even go numb.Real bad stuff disc problems.I've been on all kinds of "pain" meds, but the Docs refuse to write anything that actually works.Keep giving me anti-inflammatories or crappy pain releivers.I have to overdose on them to even take the "edge off"
They are afraid of the liability,so I just suffer in extreme agony & pain.:( There are day's when I can't even walk.Hope you feel better soon.

sounds like ya need another dr tombstone no reason to go thru life like that, imho its a shame the war on drugs affects a lot of good folks who suffer chronic pain.

at least surgery might help you guys the malady afflicting my back isnt usually corrected by surgery, had an MRI a while back and thats what they told me, cant remeber now exactly what they said it was but its from an accident in '90, no probs before then.

anyway i know back pain is a bitch & it gets worse as ya get older,

I recently traded for two barkies that came with buybrown sheaths,

the sheaths are without flaw and all that I could have asked for if ordered personally. I hope that your health makes a turn for the better, in the mean time I feel that your work is worth waiting for

All the best:thumbup:

David,

With all of that Vicodin that you are taking, make sure that you get a liver panel test done sometime in the future, as that stuff might be hard on your system.

Get well soon. I also have lower back "problems" (among other things), and I know that a "bad back" is no fun.:(.

And to the person who suggested to drink a couple beers...Are you NUTS??.. NEVER drink any alcohol while taking pain meds.

You obviously care about your customers, so i`m saying a prayer for you from Norway.
Get well, we need good people in the world!

Get back on your feet soon, Dave. You've got an email regarding an order when things get caught up. :)
