GEC #26, clad in interior elephant ivory

When I think of "pretty", I have a hard time not immediately thinking of a file worked, Buffalo horned Laguiole. It is classic, it is ornate, it is an event.

The Red bone scales of the GEC 77 have been very purdy...old picture as it's snowing pretty good in Colorado:thumbup::thumbup:
The color of aging clotting blood is somehow appealing.

Nice looking set of knives Steve. Very rich coloring of the covers. We're getting snow here today too.

Three posts, 1 image and 2 related comments, have been moved to the
Traditional-and-Modern-pairings thread.

Please keep the images and comments about traditional knives only in all threads but the one referenced above. Thanks.

To me, my Case Stockman with Jigged Buffalo Horn scales is my prettiest.

I have a few of what I consider " Too Purdy To Get Dirty " , but I will go with this Taylor's Eye Witness with Ox Horn covers and Worked Back.

I don't own this one, but hopefully will one day. To me, this is the epitome of a knife.

Can't argue about that Kris. My favorite of yours is the John White Gentlemen's Bowie. I don't think that can be topped, not including gem encrusted or highly engraved models. That Bowie is the best.

I find single blade slipjoints most pleasing to my eye. Scales with top notch stag and mammoth really capture my attention. As far as fixed blades go; a Sendero from Mr. Fisk is hands down my favorite pattern. I hope to add one to my collection in the near future.

This is the Purdy knife in my collection. I don't think I will clean game with this one.
