Damascus blade, engraved nickel silver bolster and a rocking mammoth tooth handle.

Beautiful knives everyone, all of them. My only problem is once you have that Moran posted, and Cambertree's Loveless, the bubble is popped! Maybe Cambertree will post a picture of his Dozier Loveless repro. Those three makers get my vote, because of the entirety of their work-the crisp grinds, flawless execution, and overall symmetry. For folders it's a take your pick, but how could you go wrong with a Bose-either one? Or Jared Oeser as well. If anything their is a wealth of active makers of trad folders right now. Hiroaki Ohta anyone? I think either Peregrin or Knarfeng has a wonderful example, but I would include his traditional Japanese lever style friction folders.
What about factory made? Sheffield stands out, and thanks to the Maher and Grosh thread I have a true admiration for how well companies can do crisp, crisp, grinds. The paua Case puts out are beautiful covers(I don't see red or green very well, so I really favor the blues and yellows and creams) Ivory. It stands alone. As does fine pearl, black by choice, I can actually see it the way you're supposed too. Lyle's knives(Wlfryjr), past and present, but especially past, warm, well fingered, used in the best way knives.
How about all of Jake's ad copy? Those catalogs are eye candy to me, every time. I can't do pics, so enough words, on with the show please, on with the show.
Thanks, Neal

Sorry Neal, I only just saw your post.

I'm glad you like my Adam Parker Loveless drop point, I posted on the first page of this thread. I don't actually have a Dozier or original Bob Loveless drop point though.

Maybe you were thinking of Jake-jsega51's knives he had out in the hunting thread just recently.

Like this and this?
(I hope you don't mind me reposting these beauties, Jake.)

Can't decide between these.

Wow Chief. The knives you posted are all EXCEPTIONAL!! Here are a couple of the ones I have that I think are 'purdy:

I think GEC's Ben Hogan is an outstanding looking knife. The long lines of the handle, lined bolsters and clip blade with cut swaging just speaks to me. This one was re-handled with white bone and file worked by Herman Williams. I think a lot of the knives I own are darn good looking, but to me, this one is outstanding.

Great file-work on that one, not overdone or fussy like some can be. The French do a lot of fantastic file-work on their Lags and other Traditionals too.

Here, Renaud Aubry Ebony Shadow Laguiole

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In the interest of testing that hypothesis, I wanted to know what you guys consider your prettiest. No cheating, you can only pick one. I'm not asking you guys to pick a favorite, so this should be feasible. I wonder if we'll be able to come to some sort of consensus.

I'll start. When I think pretty I think of ivory or nacre. Clad in an elegant frame. This one checks all the boxes for me.

For me it's the red stag Northfield #72 from the original run. A gorgeous long pull clip, threaded bolster and barehead with wonderful gnarly stag.

This was a tough one. As long as it's tourney time, I narrowed it down to a final four. Two 83 Tascosas, a Yellow Rose and a stag. A gorgeous American Elk 72. But, I always said it has to be this one. The 2014 BladeForums Knife.
