Maybe his wife "borrowed" it, which is why we have no pictures.
Naw! That would be why you dont have pics of a few KLVUKS, Hasiya, DBVUKS, kagas Katnes...but not this one

....OK im done. All uploaded. WYSIWYDG..."What you see is what you dont get"

But really i wish i could give this blade to everyone here because it is well deserved for all to bestow. I honestly feel guilty...sort of

Aunti was too kind to sell this blade for what she did. it is well worth three times what she asked for it or more.
BLAH BLAH BLAH! Here it tis:
It is hollow forged from behind bevel to spine.
One side has "Made in Nepal" inlayed in brass and the other side is smooth and evenly hollowed. I think Purna might have forgot to put the "E" on the end of "made" and added it later..I love it the way it is. Thats Character:thumbup: Would have been cool if it read "Mad in Nepal" too. "Sent to mad man in Texas"
OK here is the butt end first!
Horn terminates to copper then a new bevel into brass. Very cool!
Tri peened through brass keepers.
That texture in the horn is not grind marks. It is the natural grain in the polished horn.
That grain displays some chatoyance as you roll it in the light. Really cool stuff. I think he knew that when he selected that piece of horn. Well done Purna!
Copper spacer between brass bolster and horn.
Half moon engravings with brass inlays in between.
Very nice distal taper with copper and brass spacers underneath horn scales. Very nicely done!
AK bevel on a single hollow forge.
The Karda is built like a miniature Tamang with bolster and keeper etc.
Chakma is full size with flat pommel and intricately carved to match the set as expected.
I dont know what else to say about this piece except that I wish all my friends here could put this in their hands and experience what Purna has done for us. Hats off to him for being a part of our community. We are very fortunate.
