Purple! Because Ice cream has no bones!

I thought I knew you, Mack.

The F-18 Hornet. Before that, the F4 Phantom. Before that, the F105 Wild Weasel/Thunderchief.

I change my vote. I'll take a DC-3/C47. Those ladies can't be left out in the desert and there's no back seat in a Mustang or Corsair.

I was always an F4 fan.

Loved the Phantom but of the century series I preferred the 102 delta dagger.

Delta wings always remind me of the Dassault Mirage Which was French, so... eeeww.:D

We may need a C5, plenty of room, dance hall, billiards room, horseshoe pits...

I'm an F16 nut. Something about those little birds has always done it for me.

It is/was a sleek, sexy, fast, little bird. The first, I believe, (or one of the first) US fighter with a thrust-to-weight ratio greater than 1.0. Which meant it could still accelerate while going straight UP!

It was a bit of a boyhood dream-come-true for me that I got to work in the factory where they're built for over 5 years!!!   Was so awesome to go on a walk down the factory floor during my lunch break (a MILE long!!!). At one point just before I left in '07, there were F-16's, F-22's, and F-35's all in various stages of production on the floor at any given time. Great times, fond memories! :D

Yeah, that was a pretty cool fighter!

I always had a thing for the swing-wings. The F-111 was a beast (and still used Down Under iirc), and the F-14 was also pretty sweet. The Brit Tornado wasn't too shabby either. And though not a fighter, the B1-B Lancer, aka "Bone" (B-one) is also pretty amazing!!!  :D

Those B1's are awesome.

I saw a runway full of B52's in I think it was Guam, those things never cease to amaze me.

Then there's Spectre, because 105MM Cannons should get to fly too!:D

My tastes have always been a little different. When it comes to Navy birds I've always been drawn to the A-5A Vigilante. I'd love to take a ride in one some day.

I've always liked the A-1 Skyraider (AKA- Flying Dump truck). Can't say why. It just is.

If I could fly in any plane it would be the simple DC3/C47. One of the mose successful planes ever built. It's like the VW Beetle of aircraft. Found in every country doing every sort of work.

I'm a P-51 mustang and B-17 flying fortress fan. The planes that won Troupe! I was at the air force museum in Dayton this summer and will say it's the best air museum I've ever been to. I was stunned by the size of the drones. They were bigger than some of the fighters. Great place to visit.

Oh...and of the new(er) planes the A-10 Thunderbolt is as bad ass as it gets.

A10's are awesome, hard to forget the first time you heard that cannon rip!

The trumpets have sounded!

"Corsair" is still in the lead for the name Chris:p

Corsair
noun
1. a fast ship used for piracy.
2. a pirate, especially formerly of the Barbary Coast.

I'm good with the name. I just disagree with Mack's choice of warbird :p.

Even the A7 Corsair II had it's merits. It just wan't the sexiest.
