Push dagger assistance

I think a pushdagger is illegal to EDC everywhere.
You better check your laws closely, a double edge dagger is illegal to carry everywhere that I have ever researched ..

Just have to look at state by state. Double edged knives, including push daggers, are ok in TN, long as blade is 4" or less, just like any other knife.

One iffy part is that the TN statutes don't define "blade" or specify how it is measured, so that 4" could include ANY metal beyond the end of the grip, not just the sharpened part, judgment call on LEO's part.

Reproduction WWI trench knife. Combo push dagger/brass knuckles has to be illegal to carry anywhere there are weapons laws.

I doubt if you'll have to punch a perp out with brass knucks after you've push daggered him already. I know someone will say it's in caes the blade breaks off or something.

I think it's Tacticlol & mall ninja fodder. :thumbdn: :D

I think it's so that as the blade enters you will knock him out at the same time so that more stabbing can be performed without resistance.

last bump to page 1 for further ideas just in case....but i think i know what i want now.

anyone have a CS safemaker II for sale???

Why not get a coldsteel assegai spear head and attach it to a t handle from a shovel? Just saw it off too your preferred length. That's a real man's push dagger.

That made me LOL and gave me a great idea, thanks!

this thing is a $10 china crap steel, i got 2 of these, one came dull with a sloppy grind the other came shaving sharp, but the money you save you can have a sheath custom made, i dont think a push dagger needs super steel, just to be sharp and pointy

another thing that isnt double edge but looks mean is the Tops Grim Ripper, i think its alil overpriced tho, but the sheath has a clip on it,

maybe you could find someone on here to sharpen the top swedge or whatever its called

mantis makes an interesting push blade but i thinks its more mall ninjaish as some would say

yeah, i saw the united push dagger...it looks mean, but the price of $7 just rerminds me of the saying "you get what you pay for" and I was concerned about it getting sharp enough for me...and I didnt like the sheath

thanks for the suggestions!

I like the Cold Steel Safe Keeper III, single edged, so that cuts down on legal problems. It is very useful for me, as I have problems with my hands,. and it's easy to hold on to.

I like my CS Desperado,a 5 inch single edge push dagger of sorts.Plenty of blade for slashing and the egg shaped handle gives good grip when thrusting.

ordered a CS safe maker II since nobody here had 1 for sale.....should be here today...feels like Christmas morn! :)

That's a real beast you bought man! How about posting back when it arrives and let me know how the sheath retention is okay? I wouldn't mind owning one but I've heard a couple of people complain about the sheath being too loose for an inverted or upside down carry. Good score

Right on-- let us know how it works for you. Curious to hear from an LEO perspective.

This is pretty much my favorite post ever on this forum.
