    Only one! Blasphemy. That's like telling us womenz that we can only have one pair of shoes. Heck if finances didn't get in the way, I'd have enough kukhris to fill up a museum.

    What kind of tree is that? Western red cedar? That red heartwood is gorgeous. I'd love to get hold of some of that for woodworking. Would make some beautiful knife handles.

    I think it's red cedar. I remember that it let off a fantastic oder when chopping.

    How many chops does it take to get through a tree that size with a good technique?

    Sweet. My dad has a couple of red cedars that he's debating cutting down. I read somewhere that the Western red cedar is actually a member of the juniper family.
    Personally, I'm hoping dear old dad decides to cut them down. I want the wood for myself.
