Hey John have you ever made a puukko? If not what do you guy's think should John add a puukko to his line?

The Simple Scandi is "puukko-esque". I think mqqn has one (not sure but that might be the only one or one of the only)

Hey John, my entry last year was my interpretation of a puukko :

Thanks fishiker,now I don't have to draw one up.:D
Love that handle, but I would make it a very slight drop point or bring the clip back a bit.

was thinking something like this? full tang wood or micarta?

or maby something like the BCNW-01?

Boy that top one is a beauty, but the bottom would be so much easier & more importantly..cheaper to make.

i saw that one Tahts. i liked it. i was actually thinking about submitting a puukko pattern for the anniversary thread. but, then i saw the one you had.

i've always liked the BCNW-01. in fact, that's what led me to BF in the first place.

Nice looking knives, I really like fishiker`s, it just looks "JK." Too bad I`ve been told my scandi grinds suck!

Naaa dont listen to that John you make a hell of a good knife  Tahts that is a good looking knife

I was thinking go with that same blade shape and oval'ish handle but more something like the bottom pic of the bcnw-01

???You won't hear that from me.
Still have the Phoenix & sold the SBT a long time ago.
The only thing the SBT had going for it over the JK Phoenix was the butt cap,but I don't need a knife to break open nuts.
They both carved & cut the same,so I chucked the SBT.
The Phoenix is now out having a sheath made so it can go up for sale/auction for Hanna.(the sheath's being donated by Talfuchre BTW.)

If by sucky you mean a perfect zero ground scandi edge, this knife has the suckiest scandi edge ever

Thanks Myke! It's a great knife but it is the only JK I have that I have never been able to bring myself to really use yet.
