Not very happy with them so far I placed a order yesterday and called first saying would he be able to ship the knive out that day. His reply was sure so placed the order and in the comments seciton put what he had told me too. Well when I called him last night to check if it went out his answer was I dont know what the hell kind of answer is that?????????? So right then I knew it did not. Well emailed him 3 times today and called on/off all day no answer to phone or email. I will never order from him again. Has anyone else had positive dealings with this guy. All I know is I am not happy and want to cancel my order now and cant because I cannot get ahold of him. :jerkit:

The Owner Josh has gotten both very good and very poor responses from customers, he also runs these sites...

www.knifezilla.com
www.videoknife.com

on knifezilla you will find numerous different copies of popular folders...which is why some people do no deal with him, but, on PVK he does infact have numerous very nice knives, but I found his prices to be a bit high, just my opinion...So all in all mixed feeligns about him...but this is not the 1st I heard of a bad expereince with pvk...Also he charges a restocking fee if you need to return something...

I have purchased more than a dozen items from Josh over the last 8 or 9 months and I've never had any serious problems. He is not always the quickest to ship or to reply to an inquiry but he does come through. I don't know exactly what transpired here or why you needed the knife so quickly but if it is not an emergency then I would'nt be too worried. On the other hand if you guys had agreed on next day express type shipping or you had explained clearly when you needed the knife to arrive by then you may have a legitimate beef. I do not want to jump to any conclusions. Also when he answered the phone he may not have known off the top of his head whether or not your knife had shipped as he does a pretty good volume as I understand it. Maybe your knife did in fact ship. At any rate, good luck with whatever it is that you want to happen. -DT

If you require something quickly, never order from Josh. It seems that he gets stuff done when he has time. That may be in one day, one week, and possibly much longer than that.

I have had good dealings with Josh - always got some free stuff with my order.

David

PS: he has other customers too...

I too have enjoyed superb service from Josh and PVK. The reason Josh may not know off hand if the knife shipped was that he is a one man show and ships loads of packages daily.

Wait till it arrives and check the ship date. Maybe he did get it off and again maybe he did not.

Or you can just cancel the order or refuse to accept it upon delivery and get a charge back on your card.

Sometimes Josh's service runs cold and slow but he never does it to scam or screw someone over. The guy is an honest man who has loads of customers who are demanding, I sure am when I deal with him. Maybe it was I who held up your order by being a big prick when I ordered and demanded same day shipping. If I was, sorry!!!

Well still not a email from josh or a return phone call. All I know is he agreed on shipping the same day and it did not go out. And I know he is probably busy but I am sure he has a log on what went out just look at it. Oh well I will give him until today and thats it then will cancel my order.

I have read many times where Josh has agreed to next day delivery and the knife hasn't arrived as promised. That's just something you have accept as a distinct possibility if you order from PVK or Knifezilla. If the knife arrives and you were charged for next day delivery, make sure you get a refund for the extra you were charged. If you can get in touch with Josh, that is.

By the way, if Josh agrees to next day shipping, no one is being a "big prick" for asking for it. That's just part of offering that service. If he can't, or won't get something out when promised, he shouldn't tell people he will.

i have orderd from him three times the first to times was perfect but now i orderd the cs ti-lite 6" but got the small one and one knuckle buckle but there was no buckle. the rest was right but now i cant even get hold of him, and that is very annoying and i live in sweden so the phonecall arent cheap, but i hope he respond soon.

Had dealings with him around a year ago. Not going into detail, but I will never order from him again,

No doubt you intended to be helpful, but that kind of post is not helpful at all. No one can tell from that if you were the victim of a thief or if your shipment was delayed in the mail through no fault of the sender. If you state what happened people can form their own conclusions; if you only state your conclusions no one can guess what happened.

In my very 1st (and last) email to PVK, I inquired about a replacement spring for a specific auto knife. His reply was essentially, "Dude, you don't have the skill necessary to put that spring in even if I did have one, which I am not sure if I do. You should just buy that knife from me with the spring already in it."

Talk about a Jaw dropping reply.... Needless to say: BLACKLIST! STAY AWAY! BETTER ONLINE DEALERS ARE EASY TO FIND!

LOL, how professional...I bet he sells alot of knives that way... Hes got the power of suggestion....:D

i have had only good luck with josh. you get what you give.

What exactly does that mean? People give him money with the expectation that he will do what he says he will. Quite often that doesn't happen. It certainly isn't the fault of the people that paid for the knives, that Josh seems to ship when he can get around to it. The "He's a one man operation." excuse has been used for years, and it doesn't pass muster.
