Welcome to Blade Forums, since you can not search, go to Service & Support, there are several threads on using an external search engine to find things. I have found that it actually works rather well, bookmark the search page and you will be set. Use the one Spark recommended.

PVK/Knifezilla are a real Jeckle and Hyde company. Some people get great service and some don't. It's not a company that I would take a chance on.

I agree, it seems that Josh's (the owner) mood depends on how happy you will be with your order...:(

I am also having a bad experience with this so far joke of a company. Last Tuesday i ordered a new C.R.K.T. pharaoh conversion, it has been a week now and although I understand that their site says it may take 7 days, I only live 2 hrs away. I still have not received my knife. I have now sent 2 emails and left a message because of course i got a machine when i called. It would have been nice to at least get a tracking number. Should i be concerned or should i just calm down and wait longer, what would you do? If it does not come by Friday i will be personally going to the store in Amherst and asking them for a refund.

The US Snail often takes more than a week to move a package to a destination a two hour drive away. So does UPS.

Yeah your probably right, thanks for the input. I guess I am just a bit anxious, i hope ups does not leave it out in the open for someone to steel.

My advice is to be patient. I waited 18 days for a package shipped by UPS from Salt Lake City by 2-day Air. Finally, I phoned the company last week and they sent a replacement which arrived in 3 days. The original package has never appeared. I mentioned it before, but Josh from PVK has been nothing but squared away in our dealings. He got us 2 BM AFOs in plain, satin blades when no one else had them. Not once has he charged our card for something that wasn't in stock.

yeah i guess i will have to be patient for a bit longer. However when it comes time to get in contact with him to tell him still no know, i just don;t know how..I have sent him numerous emails and have called several times, still no luck in talking to anyone. Any advice as to getting a hold of someone that can help me out. Assuming it never comes...

Might check Customs, I've had some bad experiences with Customs officials keeping questionable materials just on the pretext that they might be illegal to import. Sometimes its simply delayed, others its simply held. Either way its possible they kept your balisong, I am surprised that the Protech made it through.

So i finally received my knife from PVK today. Like what happen to shell with knifezilla, they shipped it in regular mail. I could care less about that, I'm just glad i actually got it. However, I'm not pleased with the knife itself (CRKT pharaoh conversion). It is big and clunky, heavy and wide, and absolutely illegal. Next time i will get away from the crkt's and buy a more expensive, well made, smaller knife.
Anyone have any suggestion, i would like to keep it around 2.5 inch, folder, nicer material would be nice too. I am looking to use it as an everyday pocket knife.

Sorry to hear several are having problems with Josh. He is a one man show and has always made it right with me when he made an error. I have never ordered through the KnifeZilla web site, only PVK. Also, I only order by phone...

My order from PVk was shipped by aimail. After it had cleared the customs the local postal service (DHL) left the parcel at the top of my letter box in the entrance of my apartment building. As it was accessible to every visitor and and all the other residents I guess I was lucky to find it there in the evening when I came back from work. It could have disappeared easily.

As a consequence I won't order from shops anymore whose only option for international shipping is just airmail. I never had any problems with the Express Mail International (EMI) service from USPS.

Hello MrBullrot, I hope you are still coming to this forum, because I want to ask did you receive your knife at last?
