The OP's experience sounds just like my one and only transaction with PVK. Well, with the exception that he was actually able to get a response from PVK. Several emails and phone calls went unanswered for a single knife that was not what I ordered. After having read of his spotty reliability I should have known better. Sometimes the pull of the knife is stronger than our common sense.
