Definitely a big THANK YOU to Bill and the GEC team. I’m very much looking forward to receiving my first bladeforums knife. Participating in all the threads and polls was so much fun, all the close polls was exciting, and the culmination I’m sure is going to be incredible and bittersweet until next time!

I very much enjoy bladeforums and I can’t wait to create awesome memories with this knife for years to come.

Also, thank you to all the fine members of the porch who make this space such a fun place to hangout online.

Thanks to everyone involved. I just got my order in, went through Paypal and entered my BF name in the Special Instructions there. Never saw a box on the site. I assume the entry on the PP checkout page will suffice.

Jack, I will happily pay the Paypal fees for all the ones you have to refund because they don't meet the criteria. (As of this post I count over 10 who did not as of the time this thread was started. Pathetic.)

Will easily be the best of the run! Thank to all that made this happen, from poll selection to now! I may have paid twice. No PP or GSJ invoice the first try, waited a couple hours and did the process again. Got a PP invoice only this time. All’s well that ends well and I hope everyone makes these keepers. If not, maybe pass’em on to another member here.

I had to look for myself after seeing this...... thank you for bringing it to our attention. I'm all for helping people out with the hobby, but this is blatant abuse to score a knife IMHO. I find it annoying. Of course, I've made many insiginificant posts myself, but likely not 51 in a single day on the day of a coveted knife sale.

All of our longstanding members better get one! I hope rockgolfer rockgolfer got one! Haven't talked to you for a while buddy!

I seem to remember in past years, there being a sign-up thread that ran for a few weeks. Then when the time came to order, emails or messages were sent with a link to purchase. I'm a little concerned that with this year's system, some of our regular members who may sometimes go a whole 24 hours (gasp!) without checking in to the porch could miss the opportunity to buy.

If there's a chance to purchase a second knife, I'd like to hold one for @T. Erdelyi .

I admit a little worry since gunstockjack gunstockjack said that only 100 were left hours before I had a chance to peruse the forum, but I am not too worried. I trust I'll be taken care of. And if it turned out that I didn't get one because a bunch of users I don't recognize horned in on it early... maybe it wasn't meant to be. But I doubt that will happen, I'm confident I will get my knife.

Anyhow, I followed the instructions, got my confirmation email, and now I will trust in GSJ's goodness. Thanks to everyone who made the knife possible. Especially those who refrained from puffing their post counts aiming to finagle.

Yeah, I remember that day back in 2016 when you stubbed your big toe on a bunny rabbit getting to your computer to place your order for the BF annual knife. You kept posting about it all day. You were hopping mad.

Couldn't help myself Steve. All made up of course. Wait a minute. This could be considered an insignificant post. Hope it helps my post count.😲 Been up too long. Time to take my pain meds and hit the rack.
 
I see some asking about buying a second knife and honestly would have loved to order two myself as I have before. But I truly hope before anyone is ordering a second knife that we give all the regulars enough time they have the opportunity to order one for themselves. There seems to be several regulars that haven't spoken for one yet and I really hope they get a chance to do so.

…and let’s hope there remains a stash for the BF members who reside outside of the US of A…they deserve to have a shot at one as well!
