I seem to remember in past years, there being a sign-up thread that ran for a few weeks. Then when the time came to order, emails or messages were sent with a link to purchase. I'm a little concerned that with this year's system, some of our regular members who may sometimes go a whole 24 hours (gasp!) without checking in to the porch could miss the opportunity to buy.

If there's a chance to purchase a second knife, I'd like to hold one for @T. Erdelyi .

I was thinking of Ted yesterday, when I was carrying my Gerlach knife, hope he's keeping well :thumbsup:

Edit: I’m positive I typed “Wharn” under the special directions but now that I’m reading my paypal email I don’t see it anywhere. Is it supposed to be visible on the receipt email anywhere?

Thanks to all those that made this year's forum knife possible! It was my first time contributing to the polls that designed it and even though none of the options I voted for won 🤣 the knife will still turn out a winner. Its also a nice consolation prize since I was too new to the porch to qualify for the 2019 BF 86s.
 
i guess it was a good thing I woke up in the middle of the night. Got my order in.

I only received the PayPal email too. Did they sell out before I got my order in? I will wait and see what the day brings.
 
I don’t think it’s been mentioned but I’m impressed and appreciative of the fact that the bolsters are completely unique from the production run bolsters. Some people seemed concerned about that in the beginning but we ended up with a completely unique knife. Thanks Charlie and Bill
 
I ordered one with my Canadian address. I didn't not know exactly how it worked and the site let me do it ... Hopefully I can just have it shipped to a buddy in the states.
 
Gunstock stated that he would not be sending confirmation emails from his sure and that the PayPal confirmation is good to go. He also stated that if your username didn't make it into special instructions you would still get your knife. Some people are receiving confirmations from GSJ site in addition to PP but seems like many others aren't.
