Those covers look great to me, will look even better after the blade starts to show some patina character. I don't mind the light saw cut either for the same reason. I like my knives to look well loved and used.

I did end up ordering one... just in case one of my forum friends didn't get a chance at it.
I will be passing the knife along to one of them at cost, because that's what this forum is about.

It’s supposed to be a camel that is a horse designed by committee, not a zebra. But if our forum knife, which was supposed to be brown, can be called green and actually be red, you can call your horse-committee camel a zebra.

I will always believe the pro-red faction suckered the green faction into believing hemlock was a shade of green.

The greens will exact revenge somewhere down the road.

I think regardless of what color we voted for, or perceived "Hemlock" to be....we can agree that these turned out quite nice! They seem to be mostly in line with most Hemlock bone pieces from the past.
