...but no glitter! We are getting this year's forum knife with dark pink handle covers!![]()
Hopefully those people get filtered out during the qualifying process and actual active Bladeforums members can get it in place. What’s unfortunate is people trying to take advantage of the situation and creating a lot of extra work for Charlie, Barry, and team.We only had about a dozen (or so) people drive up their post count by spamming the forum... They sold 500 knives!!!
The spammers are of little consequence. I bet there are at LEAST a hundred people that bought knives that don't meet the requirements.
Probably cause hemlock sawcut had never been done before so it would make for an exclusive and special forum knife. At least that’s why I voted for itI have a question, why did so many people vote against red handle covers but voted for hemlock which is obviously red?

I currently only have one sawcut in my collection and no hemlock and I agree that it’s a fantastic color. I’m really looking forward to getting my knife. Hopefully it has some brown color in it as opposed to red or all black but I’ll be happy with anything. These are looking fantasticThat was part of it for me, but also because Hemlock is my favorite color GEC does. Even where the dye is thin, it thins to a tan, not a pink somehow. I’ll vote Hemlock no matter what.

I don't have time to go back and confirm everybody's orders, but if you ordered and it went through PayPal then you are good.
So glad to hear you say this! It means that another BF knife has not been totally ruled out.We won't do it this way again.
We won't do it this way again.
But it's not the Traditional Forum Knife experience. Why not? It's the authentic GEC experience!

I think that last quote about PayPal being good was just addressing if your user name was going to come through or not on the back end of the process so that you could be verified, not that using PayPal provided a pass.Doesn’t sound like that’s part of the plan.
No matter how to turns out, Frank, I know you, Gary and the others will do what's best for BF. You guys are so dedicated and do such a fantastic job, can't thank you enough .Don't count on that.
Anybody who posts a 2022 forum knife thread is going to have it shut down real quick.
We will not again let the Traditional Forum disintegrate as it did this year.
I agree with this.We won't do it this way again.
