Quandry on Special Edition ZT's

Thank you, but I meant sell in the exchange. The person did refer to that. I did read the rules.
Also, I did find the ignore link, you have to click on the person you want to ignore, and it's in the drop down menu. Thank you for that. Oh, does the ignore make that poster invisible to all the OTHER posters on the thread?
I understand the Mods are volunteers, as I have been a mod on two other forums.
But, it is a mod's job, volunteer or not, to help prevent the chaos as we were seeing here. I do understand that it's a big forum, and I may have been a little impatient, though, so I apologize.

That's the problem with not having a face-to-face conversation; There are no visual, or vocal inflections to discern meaning. One persons interpretation as inflammatory may be different to another user. Your moderation of other forums should have or probably does tell you this.
I have tried to give this advise to another poster elsewhere on the forum. Hopefully, you take it better than he. Don't pay attention to the noise..It's extraneous information that needs to be treated as such. In a perfect system, we wouldn't have to worry about opinions and people would automatically understand where we are coming from and respond in kind. That is a rarity.
To answer your question; No, ignore doesn't remove the "offensive" user from all user views- But, you are the one offended by the post and other users have access to the same option if they are also offended or otherwise irritated with it. There was nothing that broke the rules, so nothing to correct or issue infractions for.
You will find dissenting opinions no matter what medium you decide to use. Not sure I would agree that there was any "chaos" at all. Some people are just more direct. I find it irritating, but it's not something I don't deal with on a day to day basis.. We either call them character flaws or character traits, depending on your personal views. The world would be pretty boring if everyone shared my opinion. Being a knife forum, the odds that you are going to find aggressive and dissenting opinions is going to be quite high. At this point, I don't see any chaos, but a different opinion.

I have them on, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

This made me laugh more than it should have :)

I am over the snide remarks. And you are right. We will eventually see such Ahollery on the internet.
I do feel we were heading toward chaos, as my back was up, and I prefer to get the mods involved before cutting loose, to nip it in the bud.
Thanks for stepping in before I made a fool of myself. That would have been what he wanted.

Oh- To add
I would keep both..but if I had to make the choice, the one with the colored accents is the keeper for me. :)

Hmmm, it is the 016 one. MUCH smaller serial over the gray at 182. LOL, I guess I am easily swayed. I will put them side by side when I get the gray one Monday. I am not a big fan of ALL black finish, but I love the blade shape.

I've never really noticed lower vs higher serial number making much of a difference on limited edition knives. It's the numbers that might have a meaning or a pattern like "007" or "111" or in this case "0392". I think an 0392 with an 0392 serial number would be sweet!

I hope you are right, but if I can manage, I may keep both for a year to see what happens. I won't make a snap decision this time. Although I did to get here in the 1st place. Oh well.
Still like the gray one best tho.
