Your knowledge on a subject you post about it what I expected ;-)
Burger IS Strider (I thought somebody uttering anything on the subject would know - my mistake).
Ill assume, you dont know what you talk about in the future😆😆😆😆😉
Im KIDDING!!😆
On a more serious note: The Burger thread linked to previously in this thread pretty much tells me all, I need to know about this character .... stolen valor and all.
Others can of course continue to buy the knives, as some dont care about such trivial matters - its their dough.
Agreed.Seriously, at least this forum allows scumbags like that to be outed. Thankful for that.
If I am not mistaken, isn't Jared no longer with Quartermaster, and all he did was design some knives for them? Either way, Jared is a tool, but so is Strider. Hinderer is a dick if I am not mistaken. Emerson is unbearable. Medford is an overbearing asshole. A lot of companies have jackasses at or near the head while still making a good product.
So the owner is a douche. Good to know. But why the double standard. I see so many owners of strider knives and yet, I remember a big thread about him being a giant douche. Yet, there are tons of strider knife fans on this forum, probably some posted on this and other quartermaster threads.

Update: Jared the "knife maker" is now designing tires. No not a joke.
If u see me riding around town on these u have my permission to slash them.

Looks like to keep from buying from a scumbag I'll need to limit myself to Reeve, Spyderco, Buck and. . . . . . . Cold Steel!

Dunno, there are plenty that dislike Reeve, Cold Steel has more than their share of moral failings and Buck includes religious pamphlets with all their knives. I'll just trust in Sal.![]()
Or... You could not resort to ad hominem (not you specifically, the general you) and base the knives on the knives, not the personality of the maker. Too many makers and owners are assholes, even from big name, well respected companies. Mantis was balls. Quartermaster might not be fully transparent, but as I have said before all evidence damning them is anecdotal or circumstantial at best. The knives themselves are well made, and their customer service doesn't mess around. They even massively upped the quality with a minor price increase.
I do find it funny how many people will write the company off without even touching one of their knives. It's like people actively look for reasons to find companies to write off and whine about endlessly.

"not fully transparent". Please. What you mean is that most here think they are lairs. Why would anyone want to touch a knife based on lies? Need evidence? Look at this and every thread on this sham of a company.
Or you could actually learn what ad hominem is before trying to accuse folks of it.
