Made in China and called USA made(proof is all over every forum), and stolen designs..... i know where i wont be spending my money. Also not the only stolen design. They continue to lie to their customers and some people just decide they would rather turn a blind eye. if you don't care..... thats on you. I suggest you do some searching and reading before you respond again. You could find it enlightening

Well if you can't prove that it's a stolen design why sit here and tell me that it is? Your assumption is as good as mine.
 
A Texas business address that's really a house, under a mysterious LLC (Copiousity, LLC) that has a phone number listed to Anaheim, Ca., and said LLC had 1700 pounds of knives imported/delivered from the Wayeah Knife Mfg in China?

Odd set of circumstances that can lead one to believe that something isn't right.

Believe what you like, it doesn't take a notorized stack of documents to prove that something is not what it claims to be. Read about Warren Thomas and his experience, or Bran Frank. If you need proof do some digging on your own the way other folks did.

I actually followed the paper trail laid out in the earlier link. Because of my experience (I worked in global sourcing for a few years while in corporate america), it took about 5 minutes. It might take others a little longer, but the info is easy to find. The documentation is legit. Copiousity = Jared = Quartermaster imported knives (or at least knife parts) made in China. The quantity of knives is significant. Did he sell those knifes as Quartermaster? I cannot prove it, but to me it is the most logical answer. When you add in the mysterious QM factory (not contract manufacturing, but a factory that QM claims to own / control), the case against QM selling Chinese made knives and claiming they are made in the US becomes very compelling.

I'll also add that if this kind of rumor was floating around about Benchmade or Spyderco's made in the US products or CRK or any other legit company, they would make an immediate response. It would be direct and unequivocal. That is the way legitimate businesses operate. The fact that Jared never publicly responds to this is problematic to me. Con artists typically run from difficult questions, avoid addressing the holes in their story and instead focus on repeating their fraudulent pitch. It seems to me that this is exactly what Jared is doing.

In the end, it seems that a portion of the public doesn't seem to care about whether QM is committing fraud or not. To me, that is the most disappointing aspect of this whole thing.
 
It's weird that several people have chimed in to say they have QM knives and like them/think they are good quality, yet no one has posted a single pic. Perhaps it's because the thread really focused more and more on the issue of whether Chinese imports were being sold as USA made, but the OP was asking for pics; I wouldn't mind seeing some either.

i actually like this knife a lot. there is a show show video for 2015 where they mention they are releasing a new version of this knife.

Look, you may be right. I don't know. I did read (from qtrmstr) where the reason for one of the look alikes is because they were working with Warren Thomas and he supposedly stole from them among other things. They had all the pieces for this collab and weren't going to discard them. But apparently they did mention it as a collab with W. Thomas. So who's story is accurate? I don't know that either.

I'm sure its a cool knife(spicoli) but I won't be buying one because its a COPY that was designed and built by a well known knife maker. They ban anyone on the qtrmstrt instagram page who dare says anything negative.... no room for ANYTHING. If you politely ask if they could shed some light on it..... they bring the ban hammer down haha. Actions speak louder than words and believe me when I say that people notice.

That's a whole new can of worms..... so if you and I work on a collab, and you back out of the deal. Is it ok for me to put the product out anyway and cut you out completely?

Clearly not 100% true. A guy asked him why it was so similar to another knife and he gladly answered. He didn't get blocked. I don't need an excuse you dumb fuck. Not sure who you think you are.
