Couldn't find your contact info. Email me (taogungho@gmail.com) if you are interested in a trade for a LNIB QSE-8 flipper in limo finish.

I thought you were done posting in this thread? Only came back to break the rules by posting a trade outside of the exchange I see:thumbup:

As for the company, the crap reputation is well documented. Denying it is pointless. And the design of the knife? :barf:

Comparing it to a tilt is ridiculous on so many levels.

If you don't think the handle profile is similar then you must be smoking crack. It's basically the same shape just with the ergonomics slightly different. I wouldn't bash the knife until you've held. If you want all my thoughts I did a mini review that is objective

I could care less about how it feels in hand. The company is complete crap. I would be ashamed to hold one of their knives.

So we have a thread full of people who can't look at a knife without noting the manufacturer. It's quite a shame that people on here are so critical. Yes you can like a company or no you can hate it but don't let the knife suffer because of it. There's something for everyone in this world

You can't even be certain the knife is made of the materials advertised. Like I said earlier, if they lie about where it is made, what else are they lying about?

They don't build them in that broom closet of a factory they say they do. Know that.
The fact you don't care is what's shameful.

You are right I don't care. You guys make these knife scandals seem like freaking benghazi

Ding ding ding, Johnny what does our astute observant get?

Dude, you're not talking 10 dollar blades anymore......, and for my hard earned money I'm only supporting companies that are legit, going to be around long term, treat customers with respect, make knives where they say they do, don't steal designs, and are not run by total d bags. Sorry that hurts your feelings about any fantasy you had about fairness, but that goes out the door in a collectors setting.

Keep politics out of it, you'll not like the next outcome, read a few of the rules before you continue
I'm just making an analogy here. It's pretty obvious I'm not making this political. If you would like I can make a new analogy

To answer your post above this one you are totally right from a collector standpoint point but I consider myself far from a collector. Yes this was not my first "expensive" knife, I use that term loosely, I'm not looking for the prettiest or what not. I work outside and this time of year in putting in 70+ hours which a lot of that time is with a knife in my hand. Like I've said from the beginning, literally my first post, I said I don't care about the manufacturer. I saw a knife I thought was cool, completely subjective, and wanted some opinions on it. I've got a whole lot of opinions but 0 substance from anyone in this thread.

You all can continue doing whatever you see fit. I already sad there was a major flaw with this knife and will be returning it. I also will be emailing the company and offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism if they will have it.

I apologize for the trade offer and have moved it to the Exchange. I never compared it to the Tilt which I think is over priced.

You've probably bought stolen goods in a gas station parking lot, haven't you?

You like the knife and would buy from Quartermaster again, but you are sending the knife back? That doesn't any make sense.

First off, your review was subjective, not objective...

And second, you just stated yourself that you wanted opinions and got them. However, you claim our responses lack "substance".

What did you want us to say? "OMG, freaking sweet knife OP"..."Man! That's so high speed, low drag!!!"..."I wanna be your friend OP!!!"

If you read my review then you would see the knife has a glaring flaw. I also said I would contact them and see if they would do anything about it. A lot of people like their knives and sow of the designs look great. I have a very small sample to research i.e. the knife I ordered. I'm more then open minded to trying a 2nd knife. For what it's worth my first zero tolerance sucked donkey balls but my 2nd one has been my edc for almost a year

Well, not to derail the thread from all this ad hominem, brand bashing, and childish squabbling, but:

The TiLT is a flipper, larger, and has a straight edge. I wouldn't say they're particularly similar. Aside from that, the Quartermaster knife has a compound grind and angles that seem to challenge the user to find a way to comfortably use it.

I wouldn't say it's anything but a fresh addition to the pile of odd knives that company makes for a market that I've yet to encounter. Yet they persist! Someone is buying their knives.
