Quartermaster QRTMSTR Knife Company Allegations (if you have proof I would like to see it)

You mean to tell me that the “Texas Tea” finish, isn’t actually from Texas? The fact that qrtrmstrb8r is still a topic speaks volumes. Jared could’ve had a profitable brand but chose to mislead. I see them for sale periodically and they attract a lot of attention. If he was transparent and said WE made them, they’d be an easy sell.

I'm not concerned whether quarter master is Made in China etc. You haven't read what I wrote. I'm Not questioning where their knives are made, (you are). In fact I've never even heard of them before you wrote this article. What I'm saying is just because something is MIC doesn't automatically mean it's made of Chinesium and 440C isn't a crap steel. That's exactly what i said. You are replying to something I didn't write. I was also saying it's a waste of time pursuing everyone who slags a review, whether is genuine or not. I'm not sure why you are so angry at me. And on top of all of that, it's just a damn knife. No need to get the angst over a knife. There are more important things in life.
This thread was started 7 years ago.

I posted proof on the first page of this 7-year old thread that the knives were made in China So country of origin is not in question.

But the fact that the knives were made in China is not the issue in and of itself. The issue is that Quartermaster Knives loudly proclaimed the knives were made in the US. It was in all their advertising and they made a big deal about their US manufacturing facility. They lied. If Quartermaster had admitted from the outset that their knives were being manufactured for them in China, there would not have been a problem. But they lied. A man's or a company's truthfulness is important to a lot of the members here. YMMV.
