Can never have too many threads slagging this outfit. Some repeat threads are annoying - not these. Slagging West and Strider is always cool in my book.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Wonder how many custom "makers" also have their stuff whipped up in the good old people's republic.
That alone would make me walk away from the brand.Mr Thomas claims the design was stolen.
That's pretty shameless!
There isn't a pair of boots long enough to wade through the manure of their claims."It started as an idea, then we found a maker in China to create all our designs, and got a bunch of pre schoolers to name our knives" that's what they should be saying.....This paragraph never fails to make me giggle.
"Quartermaster Knives began as a single shop about an hour west of Austin, Texas but within 8 months of its inception, QTRMSTR outgrew the capacity of the shop and had to begin construction on their new state-of-the-art facility. Today, the QTRMSTR shop and satellite facilities run 6 days a week to keep up with the demand of our elite clientele which includes operators, contractors, LEO, and top shelf collectors."
So I am still pretty new to the knife world and have only heard about the Quartermaster thing about a couple months ago.
What everyone has a issue with is they are saying they are made in the U.S.A but there parts come from China and they are assembled in the U.S.A?

The 6-acre complex is under 24 hour surveillance using recently de-classified thermal imaging sensors. The 8,500 square foot facility is home to multiple design studios, think-tanks & a 3,000 sq ft shop floor. However, a medical-grade clean room and a 3 story-high knife museum with a biometric-scanner that allows/denies access are likely to be considered the highlights of our facility.
Not the same. Mantis makes crap knives. Quartermaster makes knives very unbecoming of their garbage reputation. One is a turd, the other is a polished turd made most likely in China but claimed to be made in the US. Still a turd either way, but one is slightly less turdy quality with a much turdy story.
I can't lie and say Quartermaster makes crap knives, because they don't make them. It looks like WE makes them, and they do make a darn fine knife. It would be some poetic justice if WE nabbed those designs and marketed them under the house brand (likely with a blessing from the real designers with no course of action). I'd gladly buy the knives then.
