I have been checking out some Queen knives and i'm thinking about buying one. The D2 Tool steel they use sounds awesome and i'm loving the Cocobolo handled ones but I can't seem to find the MSRP or where to buy them. The knife I want to get is the Cocobolo Large Stockman. Also tell me about past expeirances with these knives, positive/negative.

Queen must have he most out of date website on earth....they really need to overhaul the thing. The current Amber Carved Stag Bone is an excellent choice of handle material, the Queen knives I have (6 or so) are all but one very well finished and worthwhile knives. D2 can be a double(non)edged thing..often Queen sends them out under par in the sharpness stakes . Getting it re-sharpened can be demanding too. Try the Bay too, there's a good selection there.

Hahah took me awhile to find when this was moved. I think I posted it in traditional knives. But thanks for all the help people, I checked the cumberlandknifeworks site and they have some Cocobolo ones but not the Stockman that I wanted, I guess I might settle for Bird's Eye Maple.

Frankly, I'd give the BEM a wide berth:thumbdn: It's a pale pinkish grey colour not like wood at all. I recommend the Amber Carved Stag Bone instead.

I couldn't agree more. It annoys me they can't keep their site at least reasonably updated.
