Queen, S&M, and related brands pic thread

I had been curious about the Heritage Series when they came out, here is a recent arrival, 1195 Rosewood:

Reasonably certain the 1st release of the Heritage series was in 2011 but I have an email sent to David Clark, the man who was behind them, to make sure. They didn't show up in the Queen catalog till 2011.:D

In 2002 Queen put out their 100th year anniversary set in the Annual Reproduction or Keystone Series. 7 knives in this release, 6 with Buffalo Horn covers and a Pearl, 5 of the Horn covers have a pearl keystone shield, the one with no shield is the same #21 pattern as the pearl. The 100th Anniversary etch is in goldo_O for their big party!!!:D

My experience of the later 2011 Heritage series has been mixed. Being all steel (Norway Iron liners) construction, copying old patterns from a catalogue, some great shields, woods and bone ,makes for a heady cocktail. Unfortunately, the snap is quite tame on most and there are plenty of gaps etc. I like the 3 I have and would like to get a bone example of the Jack but the build quality is not stellar I'm afraid.

Railsplitter Railsplitter -ATS-34 in that beautiful Congress? Love that. @flatblackcapo -love the Queen #70. Another type of Queen I’d love to find! Thanks to CK knives, we can at least get soddies with D2 steel, but a Queen version is always brilliant!
Thanks, Neal
D Dean51 -how did I miss those two:rolleyes:
:D. Love the color on the bottom, that stag on top is gorgeous too!

Neal, the congress has 420HC blades. I adore the knife and I want to put it in my EDC rotation but it's just too big and heavy for my pocket. I believe it's a 2005 manufacture and it's very well made with really smooth blade action.

Thanks, Neal
