Unostentatious, as can be seen
Never the less, still a Queen

Nice! So what is it? Pattern #, age? Is it a button lock? Thx :)

Thanks. I don't know much about it to be honest but yes, it's a button lock and I was told that it was possibly made in the 1980's. Handles are Ebony Wood. I don't know the pattern number or the blade steel.

I just received it today and haven't done any research on it yet. I saw it for sale and couldn't pass it up because I had never seen one before and I thought it would be a unique knife to have. I'm also a fan of Queen and I'm getting more and more interested in their older models.

I did the same thing when I saw one, had to have it. They made a similar large single blade folding Hunter with a button lock.

Nice one, Jack. Yours looks like it has an "S" or maybe a "9" next to the Q. Mine is blank in that area. Is that a date on yours by any chance?

The Folding Hunter is marked 92 and my Copperhead is marked 95. My Copperhead also has straight bolsters rather than slanted like yours.
