Wow - not 20 minutes after opening this thread I pulled the trigger on an amber mountain man. I wanted to buy them all, but had to start with just one. What a gorgeous material. Blows Case's amber jigged bone out of the water.

I have to agree on these. I have the amber whittler on order and just received last year's carved stag bone canoe today. Outstanding knives!
