*Edit.... ^ Spelled Vegas wrong... I'm a noob.

Hopefully this Is the feedback Ken was talking about. :D

I will be In Vegas on the 10th through the 15th and am staying 2 blocks behind the Vegas strip.
I am not bringing any of my knives because I frankly don't want to lose anything I work my azz off to pay for. :D

So, I have decided to find a knife/gun shop to buy a knife when I get there and ship It back home the day before I leave.

Ok, so that was the background Info.

My question Is, are there any shops you guys recommend or do not recommend?

Any reviews/stories/websites/addresses would be helpful.

Thanks, T.

P.s... If you know the place sells Kershaw/ ZT or ESEE that would be sweet. And as for laws, I am not concerned with blade lengths.

well you could check out "the gun store" thats the place you can shoot fully automatic firearms

Website please? I tried "thegunstore.com" It's kinda vague.

*edit
Oh... Is it "Thegunstorelasvegas.com" one? :o

Re *edit

I looked, there seems to be no knife Info on the site... I'll call them

You definitely got to check out Bond's House of Cutlery. The prices are a little bit high but they have a lot of great stuff especially limited edition production knives.

Bonds is about the only real knife shop around here, but we do get frequent knife shows, and all the gun shows have knife vendors.

Bond's has everything from Victorinox paring knives and Forschener kitchen stuff to crap fantasy knives, to production Benchmade and Kershaw, etc and higher end stuff too.

I only stop in there on occasion because they're on the opposite side of town from me and the prices are probably slightly more on some stuff than you can find it for online with some hunting.

The Gun Store is... well, i used to have some friends that worked there, but the prices are high and they mostly cater to tourists for rentals. no clue what knives they carry.

Discount Firearms carries some HK knives IIRC. perhaps a few other things, but very limited selection. Discount also has machine gun rentals.

American Shooters on Arville might have the best knife selection of any gun store in town, but i can't remember what they carry. they have machinegun rentals too.

Lock & Load, and New Frontier Armory are both newer stores with very good prices, but i don't think they have much in the way of knives.

the NV Home Town Forum on ARFCOM has a list of most of the gunstores and related vendors in the area... with addresses, website links, phone numbers, etc.

if you're checking a bag, i'd either bring a knife, or take your new knife home with you in your checked baggage. if you're just bringing a carry on, mail it home.

Clark County prohibits concealed knives with blades over 3". (yes, even if you have a CCW)
if the pocket clip is showing, it's not concealed. my EDC is a ZT 0200 with a 4" blade.

feel free to email if you have any more questions. i don't spend much time in feedback. i just caught the title of this thread so i stopped to check it out.

enjoy your visit!

Ok, thank you. I will roll with the pocket clip visible. I am probably going to ship It home because they still screen bags and they have already wrongfully taken(Stolen) a custom slippie out of my dad's bag before.

They have a Bass Pro shop also, not any custom stuff, but they should have a good selection.

yeah, Bass Pro had a decent selection last time i looked... and the premium gun room is very nice too! so is the lounge area in their entrance... which has nice easy chairs and a fireplace. not quite fireplace weather yet, but still a decent place if you're sitting and waiting for something.

Turk, i got the "visitor message" from you, but the VM system here is junk, please email me. you don't have that option turned on, so i can't email you.
