Question about Scandi edge

Thanks. I wouldnt use him regardless of the outcome. That blade is garbage. I know some like that crude, hammer finished look, but its easier to produce an d leaves no excuse for uneven grinds, a spine that isnt straight through the tang, a bent tang, no scales, and an uneven edge grind.

It looks like a "My First Attempt" blade.

Keep us appraised of the situation, and maybe a mod can move this to Feedback, so folks can more easily find it.

It's not a true scandi but a scandivex grind. And yeah, it's way to much out of center.

Looking at PayPal policies, they do not side with buyer on custom/handmade items. So I may be screwed on that if he doesn't make right

Maker responded and have me the choice of a new blade or my money back. Think I'll take my money and find a blade that comes right the first time

Finally got my money back. Now time to find a good blade from a quality maker on the forums.

Great that you git your money back but others may have the same issue in the future not knowing who made this. Bush craft knives are the one thing I do buy

Oops! I must have taken it down again for some reason

Maker is Wanta forge on Instagram. Check out his work and you'll see why I was so surprised by this. It looks like his other work is great
