Question: Cold Steel Eland's sharpness level from factory? Answer: (Graphic) *UPDATE*

Yeah. That looks like nerve damage to me

I had a cut about ten years ago, not nearly that bad on the tip of my thumb, lost some of the tip actually, nerve damage and the scar peels constantly. Super annoying, I should have just gotten stitches

That wound just makes my Wilderness first responder training senses tingle. But again, men tends to think with their balls instead of their heads. :p
I wont be surprised if he gets some nerve "misalignment" once it's all healed and done with. I have one from when I was a little girl (a simple straight line cut) but the skins healed a little bit up n' down from each other and now the nerves are not directly across from each other. very trippy feeling.

Are the actions taken regarding the "awesomeness" and the subsequent treatment of this papercut sufficient for relocation to a certain thread? -- might be a first based solely on action and accompanying pic.

Can't at the moment remember its designation.

I will also second the super glue approach; it'll keep whatever is and has been festering in there put.

 ...depending on how it heals, I guess?

Good luck with your thumb giblets.

Dude, that's a serious avulsion. You need to get your thumb looked at or you're going to lose the avulsed portion.

Best of luck.

I went the super glue route. Not nearly as bad, it turned blue after a few weeks, skin fell off. Nerves were all crazy for months I would rub the thumb to get my endorphins to kick in. Took about 90 days for mine to completely heal, no issues.

LOL That is awesome. Dude, I'm glad it all came together for you.

You must have supernatural healing abilities; that closed up fast...:thumbup::thumbup:
