Question for K2 owners

I am happy to be making my 9th generation custom K2.
If you like to follow my work you know where I am.

Thanks Mr. Mehr. A few questions while you're here: is it possible to get a custom full-size K2 from your shop? What would be base, plain Jane price? Can it be ground other than chisel? Also, are all your K2 models run on Teflon or can one request PB washers?
Thanks very much for your time!

Hello Allan,
I generally build small batches of 25, all same colour, same spec. What I start to build I only post on my IG since I am no longer a maker/seller on here, I can not sell on here unless I update my account, you need to message me on IG. If you wish to purchase the mini K2 then they are available from my dealers in the U.S.
kind regards

I wasn't wanting to buy from this site - just thought you might be able to answer a few questions. Thanks anyway.

I also had the original K2 and now a Spyderco K2.
I had scales made for them and the knife works way better. I hated that the frame was so thin for a knife so large.

There are many aspects that I really like about the K2 My one struggle with it is the size of the palm swell. It's just a bit big for it to be comfortable in my XL sized hand. I have thought several times about making a custom scale for it and lowering that height. I love that it is so slim and light weight for such a large knife. It is also one of the smoothest knives I own.

I love the K2. Fits my fat hand very well. Love 10V. Need more 10V.

I overcome the lock stick with my index finger. From normal grip I tip the grip toward my finger pads. I curl my index finger under and pop the lock. Finger fits perfect in the notch. Then I can unlock with my thumb easily.

I had plenty of opportunities to buy the Bowie long before YouTube made it Über popular/expensive. I couldn't bring myself to buy it. I don't like the look. I didn't like the feel/ergos.
