question for those Kershaw nuts who like to customize

offsetlover...i can't wait to see your lahar all pimped out.....i have dreamed of having tom do a regrind on a lahar.....the only problem is i don't have a lahar yet....no money in the pocket.....hope it turns out great....ryan

I am sure that it will turn out great, im just hoping that USPS didnt screw me over. of course i will post pics :D so stay tuned

Wait a minute...you mailed it from Cincy, right? At least you know it left Little Rock in the 5th...

And I've also never lost a package thru USPS...just had some "misrouted" and caused a few days delay. Don't worry, all will be well.
 
yeah it went out from cincy.

yeah, still though, it should have said that it was delivered by now. i sent another package out to california that same day and it was there by the 5th.
 
Don't worry OL, it's fine. It showed up here a couple hours ago thanks to some clever re-routing by a mole I have planted at USPS. Anyway, the regrind looks great!!! At least it DID look great, until I chipped it just a little bit when I was opening that can of soup:eek: Then when I tried to resharpen it, I forgot where I put my sharpmaker and all I could find was a stepping stone out in the garden. I THOUGHT it was pretty smooth, but now I know what a serrated Lahar might look like.:o Anyway, really nice knife you've got here. Talk to ya later!

Well Mr. Krien just PM'd me and told me that it has arrived and that he should be able to get to her either thursday or friday. So in short, I am very happy that Ash arrived safely :D

cant wait now!
 
Good to hear...now if you can only keep Jon from re-routing it after the regrind, you're in business! Besides, I would have done it that way. If you're going to snake a knife, why not wait until after the custom regrind? :D

who says that you saw that groove? it may be a special style grooving :D :D ya never know :D
 
update: just talked to Tom. He said that one of the stupid little torx screws on the handle is not wanting to come off. He's going to try some JB weld and another screw to get the thing off. Hopefully it will work. If it doesnt, he's gonna send the knife back to me and I am going to be talking to our leader Thomas to see what can be done. Hopefully Mr. Krein can get the stupid thing off so I wont have to bother Thomas any.
 
Just Got Word From Mr. Krein! He Finally Got The Screw Out (thanks Str For The Advice!!!!)!!!!!!!!! It Is Reground And Being Mailed Out Monday!!!
