Question on the Basic 11 vs the SYCO 1311

Im not too detailed cuz it doesnt need to be. If you like choppers and dont buy one you will be doing yourself a huge injustice. Minus a mastiff, rat daddy, shbm and bme (i do own the bk tho : p ) Ive chopped with with the best of busse family blades. None of them bring
The joy to my face that the 1311 did after swingin it, its serious.
 
i ordered a day late and still don't have a payment notification on my FDM.... Waiting is hard :(

Yep, I just signed up for their forums. Hope I get in in time.
What about your Butter Knife? Not counting it because it's a one-off, or does the 1311 beat that, too?
 
Gary, honestly a bit afraid to test them side by side. May get a sudden desire to pawn the bk off to ham67 if I do : p

Pretty sure you had to be signed up when Dan released it around August 24th. Don't mean to rain on your parade.

Although I am not sure how much Dan is sticking to that.
 
I got my shipping notice on Tuesday. I need them to show up ASAP !!! I love my two basic 11's and I'm positive I'll love my 1311's. damn waiting is the suxor!!!

True. I got that email about the 1311 still being up for sale around Monday, but forgot whether the first email said you need to be registered by the release date or just registered before ordering.
 
I just put in my 2nd order and found this on the 1311 order page...

Please note: New members to the forum must be registered prior to 9:00 pm eastern time on August 27th 2012. If a member registers after this time they will not be eligible to purchase the SYKCO 1311.

I will gladly order one for up to five people who are not members of the forum before they remove them for sale as long as you cover shipping once I get them and ship them. Jus let me know guys. I promise you regret missing out on this one once its gone if you dont.
 
I just ordered my second one, I wanted to wait til the end for money reasons, my first one is supposed to ship this week but no notice as of yet.
 
I spent too long trying to decide how many to order, but I think I was only a few hours after it was up. I'm really excited about this one. no word yet

I should mention for the HOGs who are eligible to order the 1311, that the notice hit my email last night/yesterday (ETA: OOPS, looks like I received this notice on MONDAY) that the window for ordering closes tomorrow, Nov. 2nd.

Nope. I didn't order one...lol ;) :D:D Got a few ordered. :thumbup: I couldn't pass up a 13" blade chopper, even if it is from the Yard! (oink oink ;)) :D

I'm really looking forward to their arrival. Hopefully soon my initial order wil be ready to rock 'n' roll. 2nd order will be much later, I imagine.

Funny thing about SR101 with me is that I like it more & more as the years roll by. I can't be too sure, but I believe that this year may be the first where I've bought more knives/hawks with SR101 than knives with INFI. Got some 411's on order with the 2nd order of 1311's too. :)

...Next thing ya know...I'll be spending more time in the Yard & the Swamp! ;) :D:D
