Question

Cinguedea, obviously.

My brain clicks on the venerable KaBar MKII or a Randall. That's just what comes to mind quickly for me is all.

Somebody's gonna add Smatchet.

If I thought about it for awhile I'd probably settle on a katana or some sort of long sword.

" When In Doubt, SMATCHET..."
- Some OP on these forums, wish i could remember his name :(

I think the quintessential combat fixed blade would be the MK2 fighting knife commonly known as the KA-BAR.

I always think of the Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger, or the V-42 stiletto of the First Special Service Force. It's gotta be a pretty iconic combat knife if it's in the special forces crest.

i always think phrobis buck m9......bayonet that doubles as a somewhat useful knifedownloadfile-5.jpg

Combat blade to me means stout but not too heavy to add to your kit, pokey, simple, not shiny, a bit of a guard... srk would do it
