Anyone know how big ponchos are opened up?

My measurements are similar. I imagine they sometimes may vary depending on the make and year made--I don't know how closely they follow some military spec or whether that could change. Here is what I found (from an old post I made).

My surplus military urethane coated nylon camouflage poncho, or military style poncho, weighs about 1 lb 6 oz. It is about 7' 2" x 5' 2" open and worn comes just below the knees and I am about 5'10" in height, and shrinking. There are 8 snaps along each long side and a metal grommet on each corner and in the middle of each side, i.e. a total of 8 metal grommets.

It states

Poncho wet weather,coated nylon woodland camouflage, standard size NSN 8405-01-100-0976 87 Mar19DLA100-87-F-EC70. Multipurpose ponchos rain garment and ground sheet blanket or sleeping bag cover (snap the two long edges together), tent (snap two ponchos together as sidewalls), floor (third poncho will snap inside the tent as floor), two open tents will go end to end with common center pole.
