Man, Zombie folks are like the new vampire fads and such shit. People always want to live in some damn enterainment fairy tale land. No wonder Hollywood and these damn movies like Battle:Los Angeles do so well. Freakin amazing to me. Most folks would do better getting out and actually doing something than watching and fantasizing about Zombies. Like I said Wiley Coyote is MUCH more believable. At least that little bastard thought outside of the box.
 
I carry 2 packets of the clotting powder in my pack.The stuff I have is called "wound seal".I also have heavy flow tampons and heavy flow Maxipads.They're thin and can absorb a lot.I did see one guy once who carried diapers in his kit.At first I thought it was silly then I thought about it.If someone had a large abdominal wound that was bleeding badly the smaller gauss pads in a typical survival kit won't cover it.A diaper being absorbent and quite large would work wonders to cover large wounds.
I do a group hiking trip every year for a week straight.many places there's no cell coverage and the terrain is really steep.anything can happen and there's not many options for help.A good first aid kit is essential.

i am no expert but having young kids i would think a modern diaper would be to absorbant....actually wicking blood out of the wound....like i said i don't know but those little suckers hold a lot of fluid...

I do enjoy the occasional zombie movie with the wife (yeah, she watches zombie flicks too), but I don't think it a real situation to prepare for.

Getting out and practicing your skills is a better way to spend time, me thinks. I try to practice when time allows, but it rarely does.

I think being mentally prepared for a serious situation is more important than the supplies. Having QC and stuff is great, but you have to remember to be the calm one, and take care of the situation, as much as the wound. Just a thought.

I enjoy Zombie movies ..... makes sense , no not really...some childhood fantasy stuff like other Movies, Red Dawn or Goonies... it is all spirit of adventure in one form or another for those who can not walk out there back door and be in the Great outdoors :D
 
I enjoy a good zombie flick every now and then. I sure as hell don't dream about it and prepare for it tho.

Don't knock the Zombie crowd to hard .... I wrangled Omega Zombie to carry ESEE lineup :D

Wiley Coyote was not the sharpest knife in the Drawer but he had Spunk :)
