R.A.M. Composite Concepts

i prefer the bottom one too - my favorite composite look is the leek, too - i don't think it would bad on the ram, either.

I like the top one, the sharp angles of the second one seem to clash with the look of the handle.

Thomas, if you don't mind me asking. What are you guys currently looking at for steel type?

The bottom one rocks!

Thomas, Have you guys ever considered doing a bead blasted upper and polished lower portion, or something along those lines?

Thomas,
I don't fully understand the process you use to fuse the two metals, but wouldn't a joint pattern like in the second example provide a little more strength to the blade? Either way, I like the second pattern simply for the looks. Which ever pattern you finally choose, I still can't get over how many innovations you guys come develop! You guys take production knives to a whole...........nutha............ leva'!

I like the barbed wire pattern. That is one tough looking knife and the barbed wire just flat out fits it.

Yes, I have to agree with the majority here, the bottom one definitely looks better to me. Just let us know when it is available...and maybe you could make the bottom damascus this time around? Just a thought....

The bottom one. Try smaller and more of them.
What about a shark tooth shape but a little abstract. (not exactly sharks teeth)

Oh yeah, I like the saftey release on these two.
Is that a design change?
I might feel the raised button and not rest my finger on it when I am about to flip the blade open. If you do that it prevents the blade from opening.....at least it does with me.
I still give this knife a big

Dmonay,

I could be wrong, but it looks like the RAM photo that Thomas used to do the CB mockups is a picture of a pre-production version, before switching to the single piece clip.

Cheers,
Jon

My vote goes for #2 but i also think that it would look neat if it was similar to the pattern on the cb leeks...

Whatever pattern is made if one is made at all, i'll try to buy one!!:D
